How do I fix this problem? To be honest, my city was actually running better without the trains. The Freight Stations cannot keep up with the volume of cargo. Here's my current setup, and I have a new set of problems. I'm not sure why the original design is recommended. The trains seem to be running better now. I destroyed that whole setup and connected the Internal and External tracks together. Problem was the Freight Stations could not keep up with the volume of cargo and the trains backed way up. I just started using the Freight Cargo Train Stations and built a big train circle while also keeping the External tracks separate from the Internal track per the guide.
The Guide was very helpful, but I have some questions that are not answered. Save was recently cleared, but has consistently happened in the Oil, Mineral, and Farm area cargo stations.I have read the Freight Cargo Train Guide. Unsure if sorting fascilities are also affected, but has happened with mail trucks too rarely. Have post offices away from a P&P area, attempting to deliver to the P&P area via the train network. Plop internal cargo networks through various trains, with mail attempting to be delivered to P&P areas. They constantly loop in and out of the cargo train station node, eventually causing issues for actual cargo traffic and requiring the traffic to be cleared with a road removal & replacement. Postal vans seem to be having issues pathfinding to pedestrian areas. Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
